English abstract:
The lubricated surface contacts in machines (gears, bearings, bearings, etc.) behaviour depends on many factors: geometric, materials, treatments and surface finish, lubricant, etc. In many cases, the greater knowledge and improvement of the design of these contacts requires testing under controlled environment. However, commercial tribometers do not always reproduce the exact conditions of some real contacts. This work presents various test methodologies based on the use of linear and point contact tribometers. They present the setting of various test conditions that make their behaviour equivalent to real cases applications as gears, bearings, brakes and wet clutches.

El comportamiento de los contactos superficiales lubricados en las máquinas (engranajes, rodamientos, cojinetes, etc.) dependen de muchos factores: geométricos, materiales, tratamientos y acabado superficiales, lubricante, etc. En muchas ocasiones, el mayor conocimiento y mejora del diseño de estos contactos requiere realizar ensayos en entornos controlados. Sin embargo, los tribómetros comerciales no siempre reproducen las condiciones exactas de estos contactos. Este trabajo presenta diversas metodologías de ensayo basadas en el uso de tribómetros de contacto lineal y puntual. En ellas se presenta el ajuste de diversas condiciones del ensayo que hacen equivalente su comportamiento al caso de las aplicaciones reales estudiadas: engranajes, cojinetes, frenos y embragues húmedos.
