The aim of this event is to foster discussion on the development and research of technologies for medical applications. This event is an opportunity for students and young professionals to showcase their ongoing efforts on the development of such technologies. We call for submissions on a variety of disciplines. All submissions will be reviewed by the scientific committee, and a selection will be chosen to present a vibrant program that maximizes time for discussion and participation through a single-track threaded with poster sessions, oral presentations and keynote presentations from leading experts. The event will take place in hybrid format, with face-to-face oral and poster presentations by participants and remote presentations by guest speakers. Example topics, though not limited to this list, include:
• Technologies for the diagnosis, detection or screening of cancer
• Modeling, image or signal processing in medical applications
• Radiology, nuclear medicine and imaging
• Mammographic image analysis
Abstracts submission:
From November 1 to November 25, 2022.
Abstracts acceptance:
From November 7 to November 28, 2022.
Event opening:
December 1, 2022.
The participation at the 1st Innovative Technologies for Medical Applications (1st ITMA) are through oral-onsite and poster presentations (15 minutes, including the discussions and questions).
The results to be socialized in oral-onsite and poster modality correspond to research advances and research completed. In due course, you will be informed of ways to participate in accordance with the accepted presentation modality (oral onsite or poster).
Note 1: the official languages of the 1st ITMA are English and Spanish.
Note 2: presentations must contain the following sections: title, introduction, objectives, methodology, results, discussions, conclusions, and references.
Note 3: the registered authors at the 1st ITMA they are the ones who will be able to download the certificates of the oral-onsite or poster presentations.

Note 1: registration fee includes the congress participation,
