English title:	GREEN SYNTHESIS OF SILVER NANOPARTICLES TO APPLICATIONS AS A FUNGICIDE IN THE PHYTOPATHOGENS FUSARIUM SOLANI AND/OR RHIZOPUS STOLONIFER THAT ATTACK THE AVOCADO PLANT
Spanish title:	S�NTESIS VERDE DE NANOPART�CULAS DE PLATA PARA APLICACIONES COMO FUNGICIDA EN LOS FITOPAT�GENOS Fusarium solani Y/O Rhizopus stolonifer QUE ATACAN LA PLANTA DE AGUACATE
English abstract:	The purpose of this work is to expose the process that was carried out to synthesize silver nanoparticles to evaluate the effect derived putting these materials in contact in solution with the fungi Rhizopus stolonifer and Fusarium solani. The silver nanoparticles were obtained using a biological method known as green synthesis. The formation of silver nanoparticles using coriander leaf extract as a reducing agent was monitored through UV-Vis spectroscopy. As a result, a maximum peak of absorption was obtained at a wavelength of 428�1.5 nm, characteristic of the excitation of the surface plasmon of silver nanoparticles. From the results of XRD, it was possible to verify the crystal structure and the lattice parameter to material. The dynamic light scattering (DLS) technique, showed that there is a high dispersion in terms of the size of the silver NPs obtained. This result was corroborated by analysis by SEM, a technique that also showed that the nanoparticles have different sizes and irregular shapes, although with a tendency to be spherical. The diffusion test in agar was carried out, to evaluate the effect of the nanoparticles on the fungi Rhizopus stolonifer and Fusarium solani. Four concentrations of 0.1 nanoparticles were used; 0,2; 0.5 and 1.0 mg/ml and the behavior was evaluated at 24, 48 and 120 hours. A direct relationship between the concentration and the percentage of inhibition was observed, which leads to the conclusion that silver nanoparticles have antifungal properties on the phytopathogens.
Spanish abstract:	El prop�sito de este trabajo es exponer el proceso que se llev� a cabo para sintetizar plata nanopart�culas de plata para evaluar el efecto que se obtiene al poner estos materiales en contacto en soluci�n, con los hongos Rhizopus stolonifer y Fusarium solani. Las nanopart�culas de plata se obtuvieron mediante un m�todo biol�gico conocido como s�ntesis verde o qu�mica verde. Se monitore� la formaci�n de nanopart�culas de plata usando extracto de hoja de cilantro como agente reductor mediante espectroscopia UV-Vis. Como resultado, se obtuvo un pico m�ximo de absorci�n a una longitud de onda de 428�1,5 nm, caracter�stica de la excitaci�n del plasm�n superficial de nanopart�culas de plata. A partir de los resultados de XRD, fue posible verificar la estructura cristalina y el par�metro de red del material. La t�cnica de dispersi�n de luz din�mica (DLS), mostr� que existe una alta dispersi�n en cuanto al tama�o de las NPs de plata. Este resultado fue corroborado mediante an�lisis por SEM, t�cnica que demostr� que las nanopart�culas tienen diferentes tama�os y formas irregulares, aunque con tendencia a ser esf�ricas. Se realiz� una difusi�n en agar, para evaluar el efecto de las nanopart�culas sobre los hongos Rhizopus stolonifer y Fusarium solani. Se utilizaron cuatro concentraciones de nanopart�culas 0,1; 0,2; 0.5 y 1.0 mg/ml y el comportamiento fue evaluado a las 24, 48 y 120 horas. Se observ� una relaci�n directa entre la concentraci�n y el porcentaje de inhibici�n, lo que permite concluir que las nanopart�culas de plata tienen propiedades antif�ngicas en los fitopat�genos.
