English title:	Nanoenvironments in biochemistry: contributions to a diffusional model
Spanish title:	Nanoambientes en Bioqu�mica: Contribuciones a un modelo difusional
English abstract:	Micro- and nanoconfined spaces are decisive when it comes to understanding certain physiological processes. The detection of various metabolites using biomimetic electrodes is a good approximation to the physiological situation, but for those processes in which diffusion plays a predominant role, reliable analytical systems have yet to be developed that allow biomimesis of such a situation. We will present various options for biomimesis of confined spaces under the action of an electric field and the characterization of the diffusion of small electroactive molecules in micro and submicron spaces.
Spanish abstract:	Los espacios micro y nanoconfinados resultan determinantes a la hora de comprender determinados procesos fisiol�gicos. La detecci�n de diversos metabolitos empleando electrodos biomim�ticos es una buena aproximaci�n a la situaci�n fisiol�gicas, pero para aquellos procesos en los que la difusi�n cumple un papel preponderante, no se han desarrollado sistemas anal�ticos confiables que permitan hacer una biomimesis de tal situaci�n. Presentaremos diversas opciones de biomimesis de espacios confinados bajo la acci�n de un campo el�ctrico y la caracterizaci�n de la difusi�n de peque�as mol�culas electroactivas en espacios micro y submicrom�tricos.
