English title:	Data collection and decision making in Industry 4.0: coating production
Spanish title:	Recolecci�n de datos y toma de decisiones en la Industria 4.0: producci�n de recubrimientos
English abstract:	The emerging needs that have awakened the industry 4.0, make it necessary to integrate, analyze and perform a joint analysis of the different variables and parameters in order to optimize the industrial processes of coatings manufacturing. In this aspect, the deposition of thin films by means of the magnetron sputtering technique will be carried out as a case study with the purpose of executing a control code in free software implemented in a programmable logic controller that interconnects the deposition parameters (temperature, pressure, and power); in addition, control actions will be generated, remote activation, and the creation of a database that collects information of the deposition processes implemented. Additionally, through the use of data processing and analysis programs such as Jupyter o Google Colaboratory, neural networks and algorithms are generated to optimize the production of the coatings.
Spanish abstract:	Las emergentes necesidades que han despertado la industria 4.0, hace necesario integrar, analizar y realizar un an�lisis conjunto de las diferentes variables y par�metros a fin de optimizar los procesos industriales de fabricaci�n de recubrimientos. En este aspecto, se realizar� como caso de estudio la deposici�n de pel�culas delgadas por medio de la t�cnica de magnetr�n sputtering con el prop�sito de ejecutar un c�digo de control en software libre implantado en un controlador l�gico programable que interconecte los par�metros de deposici�n (temperatura, presi�n y potencia); adem�s, se generaran acciones de control, activaci�n remota, y la creaci�n de una base de datos que recopila informaci�n de los procesos de deposici�n implementados. Adicionalmente, mediante el uso de programas de tratamiento y an�lisis de datos como Jupyter o Google Colaboratory se generan redes neuronales y algoritmos que permiten optimizar la producci�n de los recubrimientos.
