English title:	Simulation of some solar tracking systems as an element to increase the energy received in a photovoltaic generator plane
Spanish title:	Simulaci�n de algunos sistemas de seguimiento solar como elemento para incrementar la energ�a recibida en un plano generador fotovoltaico
English abstract:	In this work, the behavior of some single-axis (horizontal and vertical) and dual-axis (altazimuthal) solar tracking systems based on astronomical calculations of the Sun's position is shown; using Matlab software, simulations of the performance of these systems for a low latitude location and considering a continuous tracking between sunset and sunrise time are carried out, analyzing in each case their ability to orient a generating plane towards the direction of greatest incidence of solar radiation. Based on the above, criteria for the selection of the tracking system in order to maximize the energy received at the generating plane are presented.
Spanish abstract:	En este trabajo, el comportamiento de algunos sistemas de seguimiento solar de un eje (horizontal y vertical) y de dos ejes (altacimutal) basados en c�lculos astron�micos de la posici�n del Sol es mostrado. Usando el software Matlab, simulaciones del desempe�o de estos sistemas para un lugar de baja latitud y considerando un seguimiento continuo entre la hora de puesta y salida del Sol son llevadas a cabo, analizando en cada caso su capacidad de orientar un plano generador hacia la direcci�n de mayor incidencia de la radiaci�n solar. A partir de lo anterior, criterios de selecci�n del sistema de seguimiento con miras a maximizar la energ�a recibida en el plano generador son presentados.
